Claims Handling

Through our various offices and our network of highly qualified surveyors (multidisciplinary surveyors, engineers, chemists, experts of antiques and furniture, naval & yacht engineers, etc.) we carry out thoroughly and professional surveys of marine and non marine damages of any kind, due to transport claims and damages to stored goods as well as Yacht and Vessel H&M damages, loading and discharge supervision and loss prevention.

Our surveys are carried out objectively and in professional way, with particular care to safeguard the recovery rights. We assess the cause and extent of loss and - if possible - take care of damage mitigation.

After survey assignment we check the case and forward it within a short time to our surveyor giving him the necessary instructions, organizing - if required - a joint survey with the counterparty.

Our clients are constantly updated with interim reports (per e-mail or phone) about the developments. In case of issues our principals are immediately informed accordingly, in order to discuss necessary steps that have to be undertaken. After survey and assessing of the damage the surveyor issues his report.
